World Explorers has partnered with experts from various organizations, the PS 38 teacher team, and select World Explorers team members to offer crafted classes that allow students to take a deep dive into their current special interests. Special interest classes are offered as scheduled Monday through Friday and run for a select period of time within the After School trimester period. Classes vary in length and price. Added Care Club (ACC) offers an extended care option for families who may only desire to enroll their children in special interest classes, but also need childcare before and after the end of their enrolled special interest class. During the special interest trimester period, ACC families will receive care from our Afterschool Adventures staff from the time of their special interest class dismissal through 6pm. Families may choose to enroll in the ACC program 1-5 days each trimester period on days that a child is enrolled in a special interest class.  World Explorers ACC program students participate in the day’s enrichment activities, homework help and play time during ACC hours.
