EARLY EXPLORER & ME CLASSES FAQs
Our early learning programs are designed for children ages 1 to 4 years, with developmentally appropriate materials and experiences that support curiosity, confidence, and connection.
We offer two caregiver-and-child experiences:
• Early Explorers & Me
• Little Explorers Lab
All Early Explorers programs require active and engaged adult participation.
World Explorers programs are globally inspired, drawing from best practices in early childhood education from around the world. Our approach centers play, connection, movement, creativity, and relationship-based learning.
Yes. World Explorers continues to offer drop-off programs for children ages 2–4 at select locations and times including Clubhouse, our weekly summer camp program .
Early Explorers & Me and Little Explorers Lab are caregiver-and-child experiences, intentionally designed to support shared learning, connection, and early development. While these classes are not drop-off, they complement our existing drop-off programs rather than replace them.
Families interested in drop-off options are encouraged to explore our full program offerings or reach out for guidance in choosing the best fit.
Early Explorers & Me is a 90-minute caregiver-and-child class designed to strengthen connection while supporting early literacy, social-emotional development, and joyful learning. Each class follows a gentle, predictable rhythm that includes facilitated activities, movement, exploration, and shared play. Active caregiver participation is required.
Little Explorers Lab is a 60-minute open-ended play experience. Children explore thoughtfully prepared learning areas, sensory materials, and play spaces at their own pace. A staff member supports the environment, while caregivers actively engage alongside their child. The experience is child-led and rooted in exploration.
Each day offers a different focus:
• Mondays: Storytelling and dramatic play
• Tuesdays: Engineering and building
• Wednesdays: Music, movement, and yoga
• Thursdays: Art and creative expression
Yes. A registered caregiver must remain with their child for the full duration of the class. These programs are not drop-off services.
Caregivers act as Active Learning Partners, supporting children through:
• Modeling engagement: Participating in songs, movement, and activities
• Bridging to learning: Comforting, redirecting, and supporting transitions
• Shared experience: Actively engaging alongside the child to maximize developmental benefits
The value of the program is rooted in shared participation, not passive observation.
Caregivers are actively involved throughout the session and are expected to:
• Get on the floor and engage in play
• Follow the child’s lead and ask open-ended questions
• Help children execute ideas they cannot yet manage independently
• Model focus and presence (cell phones put away)
• Support safe, creative use of materials
Enrollment is completed through our website using Sawyer:
1. Select your desired class from the calendar
2. Register for a single session or purchase a class pack
Class packs may be used for either Early Explorers & Me or Little Explorers Lab. Each class type requires a separate class pack for flexible registration.
No. Our programs are designed to fit into family life. Families may attend occasionally or build a regular routine using class packs.
Yes. We offer multi-class packs that:
• May be used across both programs
• Are valid for 30 days from purchase
• May be shared between siblings
Class sizes are intentionally kept small. Early Explorers & Me classes have a maximum of 10 children, allowing for a warm, high-quality experience.
Advance registration is preferred. Same-day drop-ins may be available if space allows.
Every child attending must be registered. Caregivers must accompany all registered children.
Yes, siblings may attend with one caregiver as long as each child is registered and the caregiver can actively supervise and engage with all children.
If a class is full, you may join the waitlist and will be notified if space becomes available.
Please do not attend if your child or caregiver is unwell, to help protect our community. If your child has experienced fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or unexplained rashes within 24 hours of class time, it’s best to wait for your child’s recovery before attending the program.
Snacks are not provided. Families may bring a small snack if needed. Spring water and a hot beverage station is available for your convenience. We are a 100% peanut- and nut-free facility.
Comfortable, play-appropriate clothing is recommended. Some activities may involve sensory materials or art experiences.
All classes are led by staff trained in early childhood education. Team members complete comprehensive background checks, including fingerprinting.
Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled class time.
• Class pack users will have the session returned to their pack
• Single-session enrollments can be rescheduled for a later date
No credits are issued for missed classes without advance cancellation.
Cancellations are submitted through your Sawyer account by selecting the class in your calendar and submitting a cancellation request.
The first day of Spring programming is Monday, March 2nd. The semester runs through June 11th.
