Become a Teaching Artist
World Explorers in Brooklyn is seeking passionate and experienced part-time teaching artists for our after-school program. We are looking for educators with expertise in the following areas:
Music, Theater, Dance, Sports, Science Technology, Engineering, Yoga/Physical Education, Martial Arts, Storytelling, Creative Writing, Others.
Our teaching artists will lead one-hour classes for children from 3K to 5th grade at three Brooklyn locations: PS 38 in Boerum Hill, PS 32 in Carroll Gardens, and The Brooklyn Brownstone School in Bed-Stuy. There may be opportunities to teach multiple classes at each school, depending on availability and interest.
Contracts will run from January 3rd to March 31st, with a potential extension until June 26th. Hourly pay will be between $30-$56, commensurate with experience.
